About Patel

Riddhi Patel is a Senior Android Systems Engineer based in Rutherford, New Jersey, specializing in 5G-optimized, security-critical Android platforms for healthcare. Her work focuses on building edge AI hubs for clinical handoffs, integrating Bluetooth remote patient monitoring devices, and designing regulated OTA update frameworks for Android medical fleets that align with FDA, HIPAA, and NIST cybersecurity guidance.

Riddhi has led the architecture and implementation of custom Android ROMs, offline-first RPM workflows, secure Bluetooth integration, and policy-driven OTA pipelines that combine attestation, SBOM-based risk scoring, and clinical-aware rollout strategies. Her current research explores zero-copy networking, ML-driven traffic management, and edge computing to deliver ultra-low-latency experiences on Android. She is particularly interested in how safe, explainable on-device AI and cyber-resilient mobile systems can improve patient safety and critical infrastructure in US healthcare.

5G-Optimized Android System Architecture for Low-Latency Applications

5G promises low latency, but Android stacks can still bottleneck real-time apps. Real-time mobile experiences need the network, operating system, and edge architecture to work together. "5G-Optimized Android System Architecture for Low-Latency Applications" gives Patel Riddhi a way to make the issue concrete through architecture patterns for faster mobile and edge workloads.
